I bought these straws to attract native bees to nest in them. The diameter is too big for Mason bees, but suitable for some other species. I like that they are made of natural Bamboo and are 9" long.

I found these to be very good quality, but be careful, if it breaks or splits, it can cut your tongue, as it did mine. It can be very sharp if it splits.
These are the perfect alternative to plastic straws-they hold up to smoothies, milkshakes, and the occasional frozen cocktail! The 12mm diameter is perfect if you like bits of fruit or chocolate/espresso chips-they do not get stuck
