About Us

 

Bucky is a beagle named after the mascot of the Wisconsin Badgers. Quiet, lazy, gets into trouble trying to steal food off the counter. Not exactly a fearsome mascot. “The Bucko” nickname didn’t really match his personality but it stuck.

The Bucko started because a product people loved got discontinued. Customers kept calling asking where it went. So we brought it back, reduced the scent, and started making 5-gallon buckets in an apartment.

It’s now made in 275 gallon tanks at a factory (I don’t think my apartment would allow that much at my place) and the rest is history!

 

What we believe:

Win-win-win. Everything we make should be a win for you, a win for us, and a win for the world.

Simple and effective. Products that actually work. No exaggeration. No over-the-top claims. We care about the environment, but don’t like greenwashing. If it doesn't work, it's a waste of everyone's time and money.

Humble greatness. We want to be great, but we're humble enough to know we're not perfect and can always strive to do better. We're not going to do over the top advertising or exaggerate how great we are.
